OK. Well I wanted to weigh today. Now we don’t have to get so crazy about it but it’s good to know where you’re at. So I did. And now I know. I do have two different scales to compare.
And I also like to take measurements around my waist. The highest part, then the lowest part, because that’s a really good way to tell if you’re slimming down from the fat loss.
I remember weighing myself and getting the same number but getting a smaller number with the measurement around my waist. Because I was holding onto more water but burning fat at the same time.
If I had been this way, with this mindset, when I was younger, I never would have gotten fat. But my mom did not want me to be obsessed about it like she was.
That was good in high school. The problem came because when I gained weight, I did not know how to lose it. Because I never thought of my weight.
Now I’m 27 and I’m gaining weight because I stop smoking.
I knew I needed to eat less and move more but when you do this as a quickfix diet type mentality, versus just do this as a daily practice to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It works better Long term.
What that means to me is you don’t ever just say OK I’m done.
It’s one day at a time.
Every day you’re mindful of what it is you’re putting in your mouth and what you’re not , you’re drinking water.
Everything.
But not as a quick fix.
This is a lifestyle.
So pick something that you like that you can do forever.
I like carbs, fat, all of it. I don’t want to deprive myself. I like allowing myself things here and there. I like certain times of the day. And this is very different than some rigid routine of what someone else says that you should do.
You know what your body needs and when.

@Inmylittleroom yeah.. that is pretty skinny. I was skinny at 5'3 1/2 and 130. lots of muscle.. fun times... we can always work on it... 5 pd arm weights with a youtube video, stretching, walking, those little trampolines. you can jump on... jumping jacks... i want to eat again as i write this.. I need to drink water... and i made a drink to convince myself it was a protein drink... out of peanut butter,honey and a banana... put it in blender with ice and water.... bomb...protein drink....

Am in heart failure. Activities cause low blood pressure. Heart can not pump enough to keep up. I do stretching and breathing exercises.
I manage.

@Inmylittleroom stretching and breathing is great! You don't actually need to stress the body either. The monks meditate all day and they are at peace. :-)
