Hello group. I decided to do an experiment. Every time I go out to a public place, I people watch. Normally I don’t even pay attention to what everybody else is doing so this is new. I’m Watching to see how many people have water with them. I went to the grocery store yesterday during the busiest time of the day for 2 hours and guess how many people I saw with water or anything to drink it all? Leave your answer below.

@skye60to43ll I'm flipping through this older book I found 93' and this lady jokes .. "Maybe doctors should write prescriptions for water to make sure their older patients get enough liquid"
I just picture a dr.s Office. There's coffee. No water. I've never heard a "Dr." Say to anyone
"are you getting enough water? "
If you are someone who loves watermelon, you'll get your water that way too. I loved the little organic watermelons this year. They really filled me up. I could never eat more than half at a time.

It is so easy to forget to drink enough water! Like your experiment and reminder. Good night. Peace

An excerpt from the book I’m reading.

“ dehydration is an epidemic in this country. Fascinatingly, the most common symptom of dehydration is a lack of thirst. So if you are severely dehydrated, then you aren’t thirsty. It sounds like a paradox, but it is most likely a coping mechanism for the body, so you don’t suffer from thirst in a drought. Once people start drinking a lot of water, as I encourage you to do, they noticed they feel thirsty quite frequently. The drive to drink comes back online and you experience the normal desire to drink water.“

This is the answer to my question when I start drinking more water. Why am I so thirsty now when I just drank some water? That’s the bodies coping mechanism. To not be thirsty if you don’t drink water all day. And then to be thirsty after you do is the body waking up and asking for more. Dehydrated. Ok. Cool.
