***Trigger Warning*** I am thinking about self-harming. I have done this for over 15 years and a part of me feels like it needs to be put to rest. However, I have OCD and I obsess over self-harm prior to suicidal thinking. I'm upset because I know the positive coping skills in order to "feel" better, but they seem so out of reach. OR maybe I'm just being lazy and don't want to do the work. I have the support I just don't feel like I can follow through positively. You see a part of me likes to self-harm it gives me a sense of control. And right now I feel emotionally out of control and want to gain that feeling back.

I would like to thank all of you who commented on this post. I didn't really believe anyone cared! Silly me why else wouldn't there be a support group for this particular issue. All of your suggestions were greatly taken into consideration and yes I got through it without self-harming!!! Now that I know I can depend on others to help get me through this might be a better alternative than to hurt myself.
