@JIngram91 I'm so sorry you have been abused by your husband but glad to hear that you have left! Of course you miss him but the damage he can cause to you because of his alcohol abuse isn't fair to you and your chikdren and can cause you so much pain and vanquish. Have you ever gone to an Al Anon meeting? You can meet some great ppl there who know just what you are going thru!
I don't know if you believe in God, but if you do...pray for him. Have your children pray for him to get better. Maybe this is what your husband needed to get a wake up call and seek help for himself. We will keep you and your family in our thought and prayers that he does just that and seeks sobriety so you can be a family again.
I know it wasn't easy to leave and i hope you hold firm to your convictions. You and your children deserve a healthy life.
