Hey everyone! New here!...
OK. Hate to do this re a first post. And going to put a possible trigger warning label here for anyone who might be christian or who might have a religious abuse background...
I'm physically disabled from a birth-related injury. I de-converted from Christianity and began to become pagan in 1997. A few years ago I moved from my old apartment to a trailer park and am in the process of looking for local volunteer assistance for home-maintence related things. Up until a few months back...I was getting help from a neighbor {whom I will call "T.W." here}. And the reason that I am posting has to do with some things re my neighbot and some things with him that made me really uneasy!...
Befotr I go into that I want to explain that I deconverted from Christianty and became pagan because of the atitudes toward the handicapped and the deformed...
I actually met "T.W." shortly after moving into the MHP here. But we didn't become closely acquaintanted until a year ago. We initially bonded over a common interest in music. And then eventually "T.W." started helping me with home-mainenance-related stuff...
I figured out that "T.W." was extremely religious {which is putting it milidly} when I heard him say "God is good" during a conversation. Actually when I heard that..I shrugged both internally and externally and went "yeah whatever"...
A comment like "God is good" is one thing. But then it escalated from that to condemning other christian denominations and other religions. A lot of loaded language {example "End-Times" talk for instance and calling other faiths idolotry etc etc} and attempts to convert me {back} to Christianity {and specifically his befliefs} by use of coercive persuasion. Finally I cut "T.W." off {told him basically "pagans and christians don't mix"}...
So the reason that I posted on this...
At one point while I was in touch with "T.W."...he claimed that one of his relatives was involved with a fundamentalist cdenomination. When I asked him which denomination he had been brought up into and he told me that he doesn't remember...
And then the alarms went off along with the "BS-o-meter" and I was like "REALLY"?...
The other reason that I posted on this {and this is where the "stalking" topic comes into play}...
A few weeks after cutting "T.W" off...I was at a local store shopping and saw him over by the entrance {and that's not it}. When I went over to the entrance to go into the store..."T.W." opened it "for me". Normally I would think "how nice!". Right? But I was REALLY freaked out and waited til he left to check out my items and leave...

Mar 17He sounds eccentric at the very least but I lean more towards he's coocoo for cocoa puffs, the lights on but nobody's home, a fruitloop, you get what I mean. He's trying to intimidate you to punish you for cutting him off as a friend. If he does anything again like waiting by a door or some other creepy thing make sure you report him to you building manager or somebody but make sure someone else knows and also write down the day and time everything he did and said. If you don't have pepper spray you may want to get one. Think about getting a body cam and if you don't do that, if you see him somewhere again try to remember to step somewhere to the side and take a pic of him with your phone if you have one that is. At least you will have documentation of some kind, make sure you get background in the pic so it shows where he is.
