******May be a Trigger

I also suffer from BPD and PTSD so relationships are never successful. But, one thing that bothers me a lot about being in a relationship is the fact that I'm still shy about sex. I'm 42 years old. I'm getting better about some things but I am always hearing people talking about sex and the way it's so provocative and they do crazy things (seems like the norm) and here I am barely able to be naked around a guy, I sure as hell won't let you just do all these crazy things to me!! So, I can see why guys probably don't like me for very long. I don't initiate sex and I will only do certain things sexually. like a pretty minimal amount of stuff. Or at least I'm assuming, I don't really talk to other women about it either. So, if it doesn't bother you too much, can someone please tell me i'm not the only one? I plan on going to therapy for it soon because I would like to open up more and enjoy life before I'm too old. Any strategies you've tried to open up?

What do you mean by minimal? Despite what you may think 99 percent of the sex going on out there is just that.

Counseling may help you open up and enjoy intimacy more, which is well worth enjoying.
