Does anybody get angry when they hear stuff like ,, don't think abot that" or ,, calm down" or ,,it will be ok".. some people when you explain what hurts you behave like you just said something small like ,,my hear doesn't look good" instead of really listen to you and your pain an just give you a hug and tell you that they are here for whatever you need. I know some things are hard to understand, some even impossible but you can't just tell a person that want to cut herself for example that it will be ok.. it's not that easy nor to calm down and nobody has ever calmed down just by hearing that...

I get what you mean oanaM. I get that people are just trying to be positive and upbeat but sometimes when its something serious, things don't always turn out ok

Thank you all for answering to that problem. It happens to me often. I was feeling like i am stupid or something when i geard things like that becauae i get man.. i even thought it’s not ok to get mad when i hear those things cause maybe those people are right and i can’t get it. After the stuff you guys wrote i get that not eveeybody is capable to really listen and try to help .. maybe for fear, maybe they don’t care or they just want to skip the problem ...thank you

@oanaM esp when you go against the grain which usually happens to anyone whos being their true self. People will disagree, feel threatened, want to fix you...they're not right just because they say so. It takes a long time to come to peace with all the invalidation. For myself I decided since it's always going to be there, I'm just going to learn to live around it. Have boundaries with people who do it too often. I don't need anyone to agree in order for my point to be valid.
