Hi I'm new in this group I'm battling with selfestem issues any ideas on how to love our selves?

Make a list of your positive qualities. They can be things such as - I am a good listener, I have a good sense of humor, I am smart etc. Make the list as long as you can. Then go over your list frequently every day, before you go to sleep and as soon as you wake up in the morning. You will know its working when your friends start relating to you differently.

You will be pleasantly surprised. It works because you will be projecting a different image of yourself that others will pick up on and respond to. Keep repeating your list of positive qualities until it feels natural to you. In other words, until you feel YOU ARE those positive qualities.

Being a giver is not wrong. In fact, when you give and don't expect anything back, others will give to you many times more than what you have given to them. The secret is to strike a balance between feeling good about yourself and genuinely giving to others. When you do that, you will feel great all of the time.

Hi, You need to know that you have great value. Just think! You were created by a loving God to His exact specifications. How much more special can you get than that?!! We all have issues, flaws or weaknesses that we see. We all feel inadequate at times. The truth is, we are not perfect, but we are important to God. I think that is where we start in this difficult journey through life.

Show yourself love through everything u do. Eat and exercise to show your body love. Focus on what hobbies make you happy and give it your all. Overall, just welcome positive thinking and like some other people have mentioned above maybe try creating a list of things you love about yourself. I started a list and I already have 22 things I love about myself. Remember you are enough and worthy of self love.
