Hi everyone, nice to meet you all. It's my first post here. Well I'm a bit anxious to talk about my personnal thoughts, but here I am. The thing is: I have a really bad opinion about me. I'm always scared of what people think of me. I know that I am surrounded by truthful friends who help me to be more conscious about who I really am. However, I cannot control it. Tomorrow I will go shopping whith my lovely grandmother, and I promise to myself that I will try my best to not compare myself to the other girls ! As Steve Jobs said, our life is too short to waste our time thinking about what people think about us.
If sometimes you also feel like that, I support you. We need to enjoy our life by living the life we love. Thanks for your attention and good luck to everyone!

There's a workbook available online, at least here in the US, called simply, the self-esteem workbook. It's fairly inexpensive and it has activities and reading to help you build self esteem
Many people with low self-esteem don't even realize that they have it. Self esteem is more than thinking, Hey, I'm a good person. It's more about believing that you are worthy and deserving of having a healthy, happy life. It's believing that you are good enough just the way you are (not that we all can't use some improvement, but that basically you are a good and deserving person). Putting you hopes, wants and desires first without being totally self absorbed or selfish. Enjoy your time with your grandmother. I'm sure she lives you just the way you are. Also, read online articles about self-care and self-love. Wishing you well. Glad you're here.
