Hey everyone! I recently broke up with my boyfriend and it was a very toxic relationship! It even cost me my best friend! In the mix of all our relationship drama, I've tried to kill myself. Now I have no one to talk to. I just feel very alone and empty. I can't stop crying and I try to do things to keep busy, but I just can't seem to escape my negative thoughts! I had been wanting to leave the relationship for months, but I couldn't find the strength to leave. Instead, he left me :-( I just don't understand why is this so hard for me? I've always had a hard time dealing with breakups and it seems that it gets worse every time. What do I do?

@Ashley The first thing you should do is to find a professional to help you explore your relationships in depth. That will help you be more aware early in any future relationship of signs to look for so you can avoid another toxic one. The time you spend will be well worth your investment. Give yourself the gift of time spent on YOU. You deserve a relationship in which you are loved for who you are and you are allowed to grow personally and professionally and you are encouraged to do so by your partner.
