Hi i’m Mallorie I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 13. As soon as I was diagnosed I had to have immediate surgery my curve was around 80 degrees and my bottom curve was around 70. I had surgery about a year and a half ago and my dad seems to think that since I had surgery I no longer have scoliosis but i feel like it will always be a part of me no matter what. I don’t understand where he’s coming from.

@Mallorie15 really is that simple. and we deal with that a lot here on various topics. if you don't have anxiety disorder/depression/OCD/herpes/PTSD/etc you really don't understand what its like for someone who does. this is no different.

You had surgery which is a big deal. Only those who experience challenges will understand how you feel. You will be able to help others who have scoliosis by sharing your journey.
