The last few days have been pretty stressful. I went to the dr. because i have constant ringing in my ears and turns out I have an ear infection in my left ear. Dr. put me on anti-biotic and a steroid (that was Friday). So hopefully with in the next couple days the ringing will stop. I have been dealing with more paranoia and anxiety...weather or not that is related to the ringing in my ears idk. I am also pretty stressed by noises I from my upstairs neighbors (that's a long story for another time). Anywho, i was able to get out a few times today. I went out to lunch with my Brother at a local restaurant. And i also was able to get a 10 minute walk around the neighborhood. I've been trying to focus my mind in the moment instead of just sitting here ruminating or brooding on negative stuff. Journaling is helping a lot and I see my CBT therapist tomorrow which I'm really looking forward to.

Update for today....Two more days and I can see the audiologist/ENT for the ringing. It's been a rough couple of weeks to say the least. I've had great support from my family, dr's and therapist.

Update on the ringing in my ears. It was just by luck that the audiologist called in sick the day of my appt with the ENT. The ENT Dr. cleaned my ears and said they look perfect, no more ear infection...but the ringing is still pretty loud. Hopefully there will be a cancelation with in a week or two.

I was able to see the audiologist today. Good news is my hearing is great. Bad news is Dr said it's tinnitus and probably won't go away. Unfortunately there's no magic cure or anything for it. On the bright side at least I have good hearing. Dr. basically said ppl learn to live with it, and it's most likely age related and or from loud noises (shrug). I'm glad it's not from one my medications.
