I had that happen to me, constant anxiety about what I should/shouldn’t say to keep him with me. Much better to let it go, it felt as though a weight was lifted off my chest. Took me awhile to become myself again, but I feel confident now more than I ever have, so I know it was the right decision

@berniro Its not a good feeling, always scared of saying the wrong thing. But you know how hard it is to find the light at the end of the tunnel when all you see around you is darkness. I know that in time things will be fine, i will look back on this and not feel such pain. But to get to that point is going to be hard.

Exactly, it’s been almost 3 years and I still find myself looking back. He has a wife and a baby now, but I look at their lives and know that it’s not for me. Just know that you’re making the right decision for you and your life, that’s all you can ever do. You will doubt, but you’ll be surprised by how happy you make yourself, you’re wonderful.
