Hey friend! Thanks for sharing here! I don't want to get into whether this is cheating or not. However, I do see that this bothers your wife and it makes her feel like she does not meet your needs! if you know that this bothers her, why do you keep pushing for it? I understand "he thrill of doing it behind her back" but if you are concerned about your relationship, why do you do keep doing it? I think that it would be a good idea for you to think more about why do you have to do this. Have you discussed this with your wife in a time of peace? (meaning when she has not caught you doing it or being upset with you about it!) or discussing this with a close friend or even a counselor? Maybe exploring this a bit more with her and an objective third person might help you understand your motivations as well as her reasons in a better way that will allow you two to decide what is best for your relationship and work on it. Keep moving forward!

Thanks for your comments. I’m not comfortable with discussing this with her or a friend hence why I’m here to discuss. I know she is not happy but I guess I’m addicted to the feelings I get from chatting. It’s a way of playing out fantasies which otherwise I fel I can’t act out or talk about with her partially from embarrassment and shyness. The feelings when chatting overide the guilt I feel when I think about her. I try to cut down but after a week or so I’m back online.

@James40 thanks for your reply! I now what you mean as I have experienced some trouble with this as well and my way to overcome this was to come clean to my wife and ask her to help me with accountability and having open conversations about our sexuality! I now that this can become a heavy weight on your life and your relationship. The only I could get out was with support http://bit.ly/2dHnRmI. I am confident that you can do it too! If you do not want to talk to someone that knows you, maybe you can speak to a counselor? We are here to support you and help you but I think that you could benefit from counseling as well! Try to get some additional support and move forward my friend!
