I also know my body and I am a Pharmacy Technician so I know how some meds work. I just have too many issues and don't like to play with my meds until I know for sure how it will affect me. The Prazosin has helped with my nightmares. I've suffered from nightmares since I was little. It's not working, yet, on my PTSD but it takes 2 weeks for meds to build up in your body and work. So I'll wait, if it still doesn't work then I'll got up on it. It's great you know your body a lot of people don't. I told my new doctor's that people are like horses. You have horses and Zebras. I'm a zebra. I don't function like normal people.

@Krashtian I agree. It's always a good thing when you know your body. Nightmares can be brutal. I'm sorry that you suffer from them as well as PTSD. I love the analogy that you gave your doctor. I hope that the med starts working for you. Much luck!

Thank you so much! The nightmares are going away. 4 nights and no nightmares. Knock on wood.
