TO EVERYONE OUT THERE WHO IS SUFFERING THE LOSS OF YOUR DEAR

TO EVERYONE OUT THERE WHO IS SUFFERING THE LOSS OF YOUR DEAR ONE. Please consider the following: MY PERSPECTIVE ON MY PETS. First, I do not or have not ever "owned" my dogs; they have been "leased" to me to help my soul learn how to grow and blossom. I have had dogs at each stage of my life, and looking back at them and my loving, compassionate experiences, I am truly grateful for the lessons I learned about life, unconditional love, and compassion for all creatures on this earth. Second, I am still learning, that when life presents "insurmountable challenges" if I look to how my dearest animal would react, bingo... there is always a clue there! I too have missed the cues of illness etc. but that was a lesson to be more MINDFUL if the situation arises again. I have shed many, many tears over the passing of my "pet-children" said how sorry I was, but I know they forgive me, as I have to forgive myself. I am not the perfect dog mum-mum, but Wow do I ever try to be the best mum I can be. Third, I don't see dogs in my life, I see SOULS in my life. Look into their eyes, you may see it too. Sometimes my littlest poodle draws herself up to be as tall as she can be and just STARES into my eyes. Her eyes crinkle around the edges and I feel her wisdom that she is trying so hard to convey to my "thick-headed" humaness. I feel so honored to experience connection with my pets, and so peaceful and serene to know that I am, and they are, not alone in this complicated world. Peace.

I have been blessed in my life to have had some wonderful loving pets. Such beautiful souls. Birds, cats, a wonderful horse, dogs of course and a pot bellied pig. All of them have brought me so much love and comfort and joy. They say that when we die they will be in heaven waiting for us when we get there with our loved ones. I always think about my dad having to take care of all of my animals he is probably like really? Why so many? Haha poor dad I hope I have a long life and many many more pets to love and send to my dad for safe keeping when it is their time to cross over the rainbow bridge :)

lovely to hear from a kindred spirit. I have to be careful reading Rainbow Bridge...sometimes moves me to deep emotional responses.... Thank you for your sensitivity... my Dad is probably up to his armpits in heaven with dog, cats, mice ETC. as a fireman, he would resuscitate animals rescued from homes etc... even mice.... did the rhythmic pump with his smallest finger (mice)..... I smile often even though so many of them are gone.... xo
