I'm new in this support groups style.
Also, I'm new to panic attacks. Lately I've been waking up a middle of night with shortness of breath, and a sensation that I might having a heart attack or something similar. I've been with this fear for a while, any tingling or numbness in my left arm, or any discomfort in the chest automatically makes me think that I'm going thru a heart problem.
I think lately, that fear catch up on me. I'm feeling all simptoms of a panic attack. I'm going to see my doctor today and have this conversation., But I feel that it wants to come back, I was alone in home and my palms start sweating and I have the shortness of breath. I sat down and started to breath slow and counting my breath, I could have control of the situación, but I'm feeling that this is something that is starting to come back more often than I thought.
I now can understand that helpless feeling of those going thru this horrible sensations.

@Sugdor I just replied to your post but don't see my reply now. You will need to apologize to you son for blowing up after you are calmed down then have a calm planned conversation with him to explain how his actions will affect his life and that's no way to live. Same with your husband having conversations with him about this and explain he needs to turn things around for his son to be a good roll model so his son can learn how to take care of himself. It would be a good idea for you guys to get marriage counseling so you can learn how to communicate more affectively.
