Dear Supporters, I thank everyone who considers me having more strength than themselves. However, I have many years of experience with pretending. When I run into town and into those who know me, sometimes I lie and say I am fine and sometimes I bore them with the truth. (which they need to learn that if they don't want to really know how I am then don't ask!!). Either way, I look happy to them, I ask about them and usually can make everyone laugh because I do have a great sense of humour. And then I drive the 4 miles back home and usually wait until I am tucked back into the garage that I start to rock or get out of the car and pace, either pull my hair or make finger ringlets and cry and cry and cry. Oh yes, a lot of talking to myself out loud and most definitely calling him every name in the book. And then I top it off by playing my theme song when I go into the house:
People say I'm the life of the party
Because I tell a joke or two
Although I might be laughing loud and hearty
Deep inside I'm blue
So take a good look at my face
You'll see my smile looks out of place
If you look closer, it's easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

And then I'm good and carry on with things until the next unpredictable episode comes upon me again.
HUGS.

I do wish you all the best and hope it comes out okay. Keep a pad with you so you can write things down for the lawyer and show him as you write it. You N is going to lie lie lie and then lie some more. Your word against his and they always win. So you need all the ammo you can get to disprove his lies. If he says there was $400 in the bank last month, then you pull out the bank statement that shows it was $4,000. Make sure your Lawyer submits it to the court. Ask the lawyer everything that will be brought up in court. Then you start piling up the papers. Once the Judge sees he is lying (maybe) then he just might not believe anything else he says. (maybe). Read everything you can about how to divorce a narcissist and hopefully he doesn't too. Game plan, Always have a game plan. Good Luck Sweetie. HUGS

@F.R.E.E.D.O.M. Wow-you have been through pure hell! I too thought by now I would be retiring and starting a new chapter in my life with my precious soulmate. Instead I lost her to Borderline Personality Disorder. (Very long story) I never knew she had it. So I've been left with nothing. Hang in there and don't let your ex get the better of you.

@F.R.E.E.D.O.M. You really got a lesson in the civil court system- it can really suck. I spent 30 years in the criminal court system. Support me if you want more information or help of any kind.
