Amazing how a few hours ago I was comfortable with my decision. Then, bang, into the mindset I’m overreacting. Does a narcissist ever have an ah ha moment and see the issues with how they treat those closest to them?

@MovedOn lol noticed the approval seeking from mom dearest. It's a huge red flag, isnt it? That a person needs the approval of their parent to take any steps. it's also a sign their parent was a narcissist. Narcissists breed narcissists, or codependent toxic empaths. Who find people with similar parent-child wounds and form relationships based around the trauma bond. Cycle continues!!! Break the cycle, heal ourselves. Stop overgiving, boundaries, and self dependence and love. When your self esteem is high, and you dont need external validation I noticed you can spot narcs a mile away! They also cant hook you, because you arent desperate for their breadcrumbs anymore:):):) How cool is that!!

@Blueberries1234 OH MY GAWD, you are so correct! It took me awhile to see that his mother is the problem. She is 1000000000% a Narc. She would gaslight and word salad all over the place. Defend him till the sun went down. I remember trying to have a conversation with her about him being abusive and she would twist and turn and manipulate the conversation. It was SO INFURIATING!!!

@Blueberries1234 He would call his mom 20 times a day looking for her approval that what he did or said or thought was ok, and she would always agree with him. I used to say, "I'll bet you can't wait to call your mommy and tell her what i just said, huh?" LOL #sogladhesgone
