Any parents here with autistic children? Any helpful advice

Any parents here with autistic children? Any helpful advice or suggestions. I feel like the older he gets the more difficult it is to take care of him. My patience is wearing thin with him and I know it’s not his fault but some days are harder then others.

Absolutely zero because my son isn’t “officially diagnosed” still in the process. Which is very slow and even more so right now because of COVID.

Yes, You need the diagnosis ASAP. Feel free to private message me if you wish. xx

My daughter is 15 and has autism. She can be very hard to care for at times, despite all the love in the world. What behaviors are you struggling with? If you don't mind my asking..... Getting your dx is the first step and then from there, trying to make sure you are getting some self care in. Does he have a fairly decent sleep cycle? I know that even just sitting down and watching an episode of a tv show by myself can re-charge batteries once she has gone to bed.

And obviously just venting to us online can be helpful.
