I am a Christian and have been taught all my life that weed

I am a Christian and have been taught all my life that weed was bad. I never came in contact with weed until I married my wife and I felt pressured to smoke it. I smoked for the first time about 2 years ago and can't stop. I have my medical marijuana card because I do suffer from chronic pain, but I know I am just using that as an excuse to smoke. I smoke literally any chance I get and I know I am dependent on it. I have such a heavy feeling of guilt, which only feeds into my depression and anxiety. I want to stop but I can't. I don't know what to do.

@SAM_31934 I definitely get the comfort factor of not being sure who to trust or open up to at church. There is a ministry called Celebrate Recovery that my church started hosting a couple of years ago and it is designed to educate and assist people in need of help with "hurts, habits and hang ups". They have ministry groups throughout the US so you might be interested in checking them out. There are also other resources and articles here that might offer something useful: https://bit.ly/33qF109

I'm thinking about Bathsalt was a last request. I don't do drugs ironically, but Bathsalt is something that I want to try before I die. But i am worried about losing control because I dk not want to harm anyone else.
