Put in a difficult situation . My mother had hospital appointment today , found out yesterday , she insisted on going on the bus which is something she would do before covid . Sisters told me to tell them if she had an appointment so someone could drive her . I let my mother have her way only because short notice for sisters to get out of work and they will be coming Friday to take her to another hospital appointment while I hopefully get keys to my new apartment and I suffer with health problems .so my sister's have to help me move . What should I do next time .

Not to be insensitive but Is your mom fully their mentally or does she have to have someone with her? Or is the bigger concern Covid? Either way maybe just converse with your sister when in a situation like that just to get their opinions even if they're busy just so they're aware of what's going on. As for the bus, I've never took any form of public transportation(i.e. bus, train) so I don't know how they are with Covid going on but if your mom can handle herself then she could probably take the necessary precautions not to get sick but I don't know how crowded buses are.

@Jordan5683 she is able to go on her own . Due to her age and health covid could kill her . Some buses are not taking many people so to social distance . People are going on buses with not mask and not social distancing

I can see how the situation could be stressful. In the future I hope your family can communicate so she'll have a ride.
