I've been separated for 18 months after a 30 year marriage. I'm not sure I miss him or if I'm just extremely lonely in general. I've been married since I was 23 and now I'm 52. Just feeling really lost

@S.Alley Hugs! I'm glad you have your children and grandchildren to help you navigate this new season of your life. I understand you have been separated for 18 months, but is marital counseling an option? I mention that because I personally understand the effects of divorce. Whatever happens, be encouraged: God works all things out for the good of those who love Him. Even when we can't see it.

Hey there,
Have you sought out counseling/therapy? Not necessarily to "fix" your marriage, but individually to help you walk through this tough time? If not, I'd recommend you seek someone out. Separation can be tricky with your emotions especially when you've been together for so long. If you need help finding someone, you can call 855-382-5433 for a free consultation with a LPC and they'll give you a referral to someone in your area. :-)

I wish you all the best!
