Went to wedding last night became a little depressed during the vows. My h asked what was wrong I told him that I wished he honoured our vows and took them seriously. He said he took our vows very seriously sorry but you didn't. After had a few drinks and made sure i had a good time. I didn't care if I didn't know half the people there I was out on the dance floor having a good time with the rest of them

What does that mean? He is sorry YOU didn't? I'm glad that you still had fun.

@Hixyz just means that if he took our vows seriously and our relationship he would have never cheated.
He claims he took our vows seriously no he did not. When you promise to cherish someone and be faithful to them and you break that promise than you didn't take your marriage vows to heart.

Amen! I don't see any other way to look at it. The wife that cheated on me, I divorced in 1988. Still to this day, when I reflect on that marriage, I'm troubled by the question "Why?" She said she had run into a smooth talker, so what was I? A smooth sucker?

Snsa, this is your thread and I respect that. What stimulated my memory was that even though I worked very hard to forgive the transgression it still remains in my memory.
