My husband of 22 years had been cheating on me for 3 years with our live in nanny. He was cold to me and said some truly awful things. I took the kids. He left her and came back. I thought I could stay with him for the kids. But I met someone who makes me feel alive again. Not sure what to do.

@SadInChicago89 yes I understand when my husband's affair started I weighed in at 255. I'm 5'10. I found out I was insulin resistant. I'm now at 140 lbs. I have learned my body and eating habits. I work out 4 days a week, my husband now joins me. In fact outside of work we are together all the time.

@Kas1966 by the way I look ten times better than the OW. Only thing she has on me is age.

@SadInChicago89 yes I miss feeling alive, I miss the loving naive me. I miss looking at my husband and feeling that love I had for him(us) it's been tainted, desecrated. I hate knowing there was someone else who had him. He says it was just physical I'm not buying it. A 7 yr affair can't just be that. Sorry. Maybe I'm cynical now (why wouldn't I be) just don't know anymore. I definitely wouldn't rush into a new relationship let yourself heal first.
