It sounds like your husband is very immature and selfish. It is hard enough to be betrayed but when you add kids interest the situation it is so much harder. Like I mentioned before in one of my post on here being married is a team sport, if the other person on the team is not pulling their weight you loose confidence and respect for them and can not trust them.

@Floored your right and I have told him stop being selfish so many times. But now it's my turn to be selfish. It's time to focus on myself, on my happiness and my wishes. If he wants to be with me then he has to put me on top of his priority. But honestly I know him so well. He will give me few months attention and than put himself on top again. But maybe that's where I also need to realise to take turns with him.

@Zene I have learned from this betrayal that I made myself second in our relationship it is easy to do especially if you are a kind and loving person and you truly think of how your actions effect others. Mothers do that all the time the kids come first, I am guilty of this, I have spoiled my kids and husband to the point they do not think about what I might want or need all the time. No matter what it is mom can do it haha is not that the truth? When I lived alone for almost a year it was hard for me at first because my kids are grown and out on their own, and I did not have to take care of my cheating husband. I had time to think about me and what I needed and wanted. I liked living like that, since my husband has been home I have tried very hard to not slip back into that place of mom can do anything. It is hard because I do have to do everything, but I try and carve out time for what I want. I think people who will cheat on someone take advantage of those good loving people that would never think of behaving that way that is why it is so devastating.
