its been 10 months and we are trying to make things work but i keep slipping up. My patience keeps wearing thin. During a time where my wife felt insecure she mentioned something that was a comparison between me and her exs (that she could talk to exs about something she cant talk to me about) I lost my nerve and we fought, wife was still angry and its been days. I just feel to leave i cant take the past creeping up on me. Starting to think i am not someone who can forgive the betrayal in this marriage. Am i just not working hard enough or does anyone else feel like sometimes its time to call it a day

@StillHurt901 One for your to consider. We used to plan/schedule our talks. I would give my questions upfront so that she had time to think about them. We did this because I got frustrated if I asked questions and she didn't have answers. Writing them down also helped me to sometimes see that I asked the same questions repeatedly

Dr. Sue Johnson’s book Hold Me Tight was recommended by our therapist and really changed the game for my husband and I in terms of improving our communication patterns and learning how to identify unhealthy communication habits.
