Anyone else feel different about their spouse after they cheated? I mean, of course you feel anger, disgust, etc..but I mean do you feel like that "in love" feeling is gone? Like tou just can't see them with the same eyes you had before and it hurts? It feels like the love of my life died and someone else took over his body. I think I'm mourning someone who is still alive and with me. We were so close, so in love..it's a tragedy.

@bh71 oh dear. Have you thought about potentially blocking/ceasing communication with her for a while? This can't be good for you. I hope you have time for self care too.

@JackGunn I get what u are saying. At the time we were fighting a loot about our kids and I was pushing his ideas and feelings away so he found a person who listened to him and made him feel good. He needed that and way more affection. Even though we did talk and did have sex before we are way more open and affectionate now and he feels more included in everything. He also wasn't meeting my needs and feelings and in response to his guilt about having an affair and was putting me down. That has changed and its good. It still bothers me that he found another person instead of just talking to me about it. I don't get that and I'm not over it. We're just in a good place now and moving forward.
