12 months after d.day and i am struggling like this all happened yesterday. To now make things worse my partner is going through things too and has said she is going in and out of depression, i really have lost the will and have no idea what to do. Only thing i can think is to make everyday as nice and easy for as possible but when i have tried that in the last year i end up not letting out my emotions which then bottle up and explod later. In this state i cant even express how much its hurt me and i just want to leave and be alone. No idea what to do or where to turn, any and all thoughts are much appreciated, thank you

@raviprgti i agree and that is leading me to believe i would be way better off without this toxic thinking around me while i try and heal

@StillHurt901 just because you decided to stay and work through it doesn't mean you can just draw a line under it. Your wife should be grateful that you've tried, but you shouldn't feel tied to staying forever if you can't get what you need to heal

From what you're saying it seems that she is very incapable of considering your feelings and your perspective of things. She also seems selfish and childish from how she responds in y'all disputes or arguments. Do you actually see her changing anytime in the future? Does she have any qualities that you like regarding her as a person? If not, I would suggest that you move on from your partner because nobody can "fix" or "help" anyone who doesn't want to change or be helped. It'll only waste your time and your energy when you could be having a happier life with hopefully someone better.
