What is your opinion on this? Is this a real marriage?

I want the opinion of the group on something. This is the relationship my soon to be ex-wife wants with me. She acknowledges we love each other, she wants us to live together, for us to be best friends, raise the kids together, she says she needs me, she wants us to promise never to leave the other, promise to always be there for each other, be each other's emergency contact, find some way to make it legal to have visitation rights in the hospital if something happens after the divorce, and to always be there for each other no matter what. Now I want people to tell me if I am wrong but doesn't this sound like a marriage.

Totally agree. My wife used to say "I'm the one you should be mad at, I'm the one that betrayed you"... you have no reason to bother him. While I do agree, hers was the bigger betrayal, I always told her that I had more than enough anger to go around, and he didn't get a pass for the decisions he made, by any means.

I have a little knowledge about infidelity. If your soon-to-be-ex-wife wants you to be with her, then I think it's sign that she wants to rekindle your marriage.

I don't think she knows what she really wants. As screwed up as I am she is in a worse place. Maybe one day will try again but I don't think it will happen right now.
