PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR INPUT: I am a 21 y/o male in college. I

I am a 21 y/o male in college. I found out 3 months ago that the love of my life was not faithful to me. Naturally i left her and I am still not over that fact alone. However, last month (2 months after i left her) I got diagnosed with GW and its been really hard. I have been applying imiquimod ever since for about a month. ANYWAY. I was wondering how long all of your first outbreaks lasted? The web only says between a few months and 2 years. I can do a few months no problem... but 2 years or longer? This makes me very nervous and scared. I just want a collective amount of inputs/experiences on this please! Thank you!!

A lot of people on here have said they got rid of them pretty quick but unfortunately Ive been dealing with mine for a little over a year now. I’ve had mine frozen off once and surgically removed the next. About to have them treated again. Hopefully this is the last of it. Good luck!

I think acid treatment worked really well it took 2 months and they’ve now been gone for 8. It’s good to keep your immune system healthy too to help fight it off.

I found out I had GW over a year ago. I can go around a month without having any and then one will pop up. I haven’t had any for a few weeks and I am keeping everything crossed that this is the last time. However, I now have a small lump on the side of my tongue. I am paranoid this might be oral warts but trying not to stress so much as I feel the more stressed I get I get a flare up. Think positive! It differs for everyone so hopefully you don’t have to put up with them for much longer x
