I am shocked that my gyn says she recommends my husband and I use condoms or dental dams every time we have sex for the rest of our lives. I had to have her repeat herself because I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I can deal with condoms but having to use a dental dam when I go down on my partner... or vice versa?? Is anyone taking these precautions with a long term monogamous partner? I have seen stuff online that says condoms are useless when it comes to HPV with a longterm monogamous partner. Any experience would be appreciated.
