Hey all it has been awhile since I've been on here. I was diagnosed 1 and a half years ago with warts, had them removed, they aren't visual, but still to this day I feel the tingles and itchy sensation in that area, especially under a warm blanket which I've been told is what makes the environment great for the infected area (and the warts). Probably still have them although they aren't visual. Any of you have any remedies? I actually tried using some topical creams but one burned and it was difficult for me to sleep for hours (I think the gabapentin). I'm thinking of requesting the lido spray again, but I have to be diagnosed with warts and they can't see them so I might be out of luck. Any suggestions for numbing the skin down there? Any help is great.

@toddster I'm so happy to see you on here and doing well. As you know, you literally saved my life. For those that don't know, I suffered (still do somewhat) mentally with this. It was so many of you and most especially Toddster that helped me through that horrible hole of self-loathing as a consequence of HPV.

As for the itchies and tingles, I can't help but wonder if it isn't minor nerve damage from the removal procedure...if so, it will take a while to go away but it will eventually...or so I've read.

Anyway, big hugs and Merry Christmas Toddster...and again...thank you for literally saving me.

Miss you lots Penny. You're awesome for continually helping people on here. A total unsung hero as far as I can tell. Sending you warm regards and wishes for a merry christmas and new years from Vietnam. Much love.

I don't know why topical creams do not respond to your itching and tingling sensations. But for me, Vidarox cream really helps. The warts cause me so much itching and burning down there but this topical medicine gives relief from the first uses. I'm also thinking that your problem can possibly result from your mentality that you feel uncomfortable about those skin growths. So, ignore your feelings and avoid touching, or scratching your affected area.
