I'm going through my first out break and it's pretty tough, but I read online that there are some natural remedies that can help. I tried aloe Vera and ice and they helped a little. And then I tried baking soda which totally burned everything down there and started stinging a lot ... Is this normal? Anyone have any success using baking soda?

Thanks, unfortunately I do not own a bath tub, but rather a shower room only. So I don't think I could take advantage of the Epson salts. And what do you mean by intimate soap?

The soap for female hygiene. It helps with the healing. And you can also rinse with the Epson salt, since you don't have a bath tub. That can be done like three times or as needed. Just an advice.

go to your doctor and ask for some lidocaine hydrochloride cream... it changed my life with outbreaks. i would apply all over, making sure it was on the sores, and wait 10 minutes before i had to use the restroom. it is heaven compared to not having any.
