Hi guys, I know this is super far fetched but I'm just trying to figure things out.. I've read multiple places that when they deem you positive from a blood test you've usually had the virus for at least 3 months??? Is that true? I know they have no way of back tracking and pinpointing exactly when the virus was contracted but the 3 month span might give me more of an idea. I also was wondering about tanning beds. I don't use them, nor have I ever but I did work at a tanning salon and I noticed blisters popping up on my fingers while working there. I assumed I was allergic to the cleaner and wore gloves every time after but these blisters on my fingers have not gone away. Is it at all possible that I have the hsv2 on my fingers from a tanning bed and not on my genitals from a parter? I've never had any sort of outbreak on my genitals and I really just want to figure out how I got the virus. It's driving me crazy.

Jul 16You could get a swab to test but its not hsv2 related
