I think that my long distance girlfriend has been lying to me and everytime I start to ask questions she turns things around and somehow it ends up being my fault. So I'm the one apologizing when I haven't done anything wrong. What do I do? Help!!

@Littleturtle1000 I love her so much and want to believe her but she is inconsistent with her answers to the same questions or just ignores them like I didnt ask them. I don't know what to do. She is my world. But at the same time lying to me or cheating on me would be the worst thing she could do. When I tell her that I believe she is lying to me she cries and says I don't love her enough to trust what she is saying is the truth and then I feel guilty. What do I do? The separation due to the pandemic is hurting our relationship. Please give me some advice if you have any.

@hopexo I have explained my fears to her. She cries and says that she loves me. Then I feel guilty for making her cry. If I could only see her in person right now and hold her I think I would feel a little better.

@Uconn if there are inconsistencies and she cant or wont explain then of course she could be lying. If you really believe shes been lying about something then theres a high chance that she is lying. Have you two agreeed to be committed? Maybe she isnt ready to be exclusive with anyone. Maybe she has lied about something little and so she doesnt count that, who knows. If you dont feel right maybe you could take a break for awhile?
