Today I came out to my friend as pansexual and she asked me "oh so you're like umm bisexual?" I couldn't find the right words so i could explain her to understand the difference between being bisexual and being pamsexual.

Can someone help me out? What do you think, what exactly means "pansexual"?

@Ymir When I say all genders, I mean male and female, of course, but including non-binary, genderfluid, etc. Just going online and searching for the definitions of those is very helpful, plus, look up pansexuality, too. If I can't explain it, maybe the internet can do it better, haha.

@Ymir I believe the difference between pansexual and bisexual is kind of easy to describe by the root of the two words. 'pan' means 'all' so if you are pansexual you love anyone regardless of their gender identity or if they are transgender or cisgender. Whereas 'bi' means 'two' and so if you are bisexual you love cisgender men and cisgender women but I don't think that goes as far as to include transgender or other gender identities. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.
