@MomLeslieM I am really happy to hear that Jesus Christ will always be there for me no matter what. I have been watching a church service on-line. It was a website that my friend gave me before she passed away. And now I watch this pastor every week.

@sara600 I'm SO happy you are doing that - one of my favorite verses in the Bible is Joshua 1:9 -- "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." It speaks to anxiety AND that He will ALWAYS be with you. One thing I'd encourage you to do if you haven't already is to find some verses that do bring you comfort and encouragement that you're not alone. Another one is Matthew 28:20b where Jesus said "And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." He truly will NEVER EVER leave you.

I agree with the other poster. My experience has been that Jesus has never left me or forsaken me. Hebrews 13:5. I have suffered from anxiety and two books that have really helped me are, “Praying Through Fear” by Stormie Omartian and “Come Away My Beloved” by Robert Francis. They may help you too. I also talked to my pastor and I see a Christian counselor. Do you have anyone like that in your life that you can talk to?
