I just found out my now ex bf groomed and slept with an underage teenager, so he's a statutory rapist pedo. I literally feel sick to my stomach. There are so many things that i ignored that were obvious red flags.

@Blueberries1234 I couldn’t agree more with what you said about loving yourself more. Many of us were brought up to be too trusting, to only see the good in people, and to give them the benefit of the doubt. That no longer applies in today’s world, where predators can be anywhere, disguised as an average, normal person. This is especially true on the Internet, which is a virtual playground for predators. It is also the way most people meet today. You have no idea who the person is except that they have a computer. You don’t even know their real name, or if the photo they show you is really them. It takes time and a keen intuitive sense to really get to know someone’s true character. Trust cannot just be handed over; it has to be earned.......

@wlsonsurviro I must tell you that I applaud you for listening to your instincts. If more people did that, the world would be a safer, better place. Especially when the welfare of a child is at stake, that needs to be a top priority. You followed your intuitive voice, you definitely did the right thing by having the courage to talk to the ex, who was the mother. I’m sure any mother would be grateful to be given information that could affect her child. Instincts will always be right. It’s your soul’s voice telling you to pay attention; something is not right. You should be proud of yourself. Good for you!.......

@pickone Thank You! It still hurts (even though I know he's a monster), and in waves the feeling of just sick to my stomach comes. Hopefully that will happen less with time, but it take some time to heal.
