Broke NC again!! Ugh why is it so hard?? He is disrespectful and treated me horrible and showed me so love so why can’t I just stay away? It only makes me feel worse..he takes hours to reply now as I’m sure he has a new supply..he would send me texts I’m sure to see if I’ll reply and keep me as a backup plan

@Kgabaldon agree 100%! And his behavior got worse because by breaking contact all your are doing is sending a message that it’s acceptable behavior

Ugh, I know it is so hard. I broke it so many times, but as you move forward you will learn and get better at sticking to your boundaries. You are breaking old patterns and it's an addiction. But, look at how you are starting to see! Go back to no contact. Keep on going! You can do it!

Yes NC is not easy. I have had my struggles with it too. With time I have gotten better in not reaching out to my ex and I know he has a new supply. He ended the relationship with a great woman (me!). Yet when I don't call for long periods at a time he calls me. I am 56 years of age, he is already 70 years old. Recently when I try to be empathic when he called at 5 am in the morning during the work week (the silly gf was not there for him) I know why he was calling but listened because I could he in his voice how depressed he was. He was a good man when we were together. These silly low class women he pursues is what changed him to less. I am sure you are a great person. Don't let someone's else failures in life become yours. You have a better life to live and either this person becomes a real man to be part of it or not.
