I am fairly new to the wrath of eczema lol. I have never had skin issues or eczema throughout my entire life until I was 18 years old. I'm unsure of what caused it to happen all a sudden. I've had it on my elbows and hands for a year now and I've seen several different types of doctors for it. I did an allergen test, and I have about 5 different creams that I am prescribed, but none of them are to my liking and I haven't found something consistent that works for me. Sometimes I will get blisters on my palms and sides of my fingers. It is very aggravating and disrupts my daily life unfortunately. I've just come to terms with it at this point. It will get better and then flair back up. My elbows started to itch around this time last year, and unfortunately I have lost pigmentation in my skin in that area due to the severe itching and scratching.

If you can access a doctor : Triamcinolone Acetonide - they generally try to give you a 2 ounce tube; doesn't last and your medical bills pile up. If you can talk them out of it (such as you break out all over your body) they can give you a 454 gram/ one pound jar. After two urgent care visits we went to a primary care who actually listened. It may be an allergy so as a trial you may want to take benadryl (at night when you sleep). If you can not get to a doctor, they're uncooperative etc. order some Jafra - almond oil. It doesn't work as well but at least your hands will heal.

@Crystalcat did anything with your diet change when the eczema started? Sometimes the smallest things in our diets can cause various problems.
