A reminder about Blogs and Personal Websites
Good Morning Amazing SupportGroups' Members!
We ran into an issue with a member who felt we were calling them out by not allowing them to share their personal blog on the site. While this is clearly against the rules (you may reference our legal statement, http://www.supportgroups.com/content/legal-statement)it is meant as a way to protect our members from advertising and marketing that we don't condone, not as a personal attack on a project you have worked really hard on.
You may share information you write on a personal website or blog if it pertains to the group you are posting in, but you may not share the blog address.
We want this site to be a place where members forge friendships, support one another through the very worst and the very best and everywhere in between.
Thank you all and as tomorrow is the 4th of July, be safe and have a wonderful time!

Jan 26, 2014I agree with this entirely, much as I like the sound of my own voice. I am, however, writing down my experiences of how I came by, and dealt with, my illness, encouraged by certain SG members. When this opus magnus is complete, I will find some way to post it elsewhere, and to draw attention to it without breaking the rules.
