This whole process of separating and going through a divorc

This whole process of separating and going through a divorce is very frustrating at times. The feelings and emotions make it frustrating at times I feel fine and then other times like this past week I have really had some sad times.

This week has been filled with a lot of loneliness and sadness. Tonight I decided to go through all the pictures I had of her on my phone and delete them and just the process of doing that brought tears to my eyes. Especially when I got to some of the photos when our son was born. That was such a happy and exhausting time together. There were happy moments and bad ones too, but I always though we could make it through hard times if we both tried. It just is really sad to me, all the photos with smiles on our faces. But I guess smiles in pictures doesn't mean everyone in the relationship is happy. Its really hard to know what the other person truly feels. Idk I feel like I am just rambling just needed to express my feelings.

@Brokenheart2020 It is very hard to go through this, but even though it is hard to go through it may be worth to grieve and heal than to be in a relationship with a person you never truly feel inner peace with. I fully believe if you have a person you feel peace about with and you know you can trust that person and the two of you can communicate honestly and open then that is a great relationship. If you feel you can't fully trust and your heart is always going to be guarded in the relationship then maybe its worth letting go so you can move on and find peace.

Divorce is very difficult. Allow yourself to go through all of the emotions and to grieve. You are saying goodbye to a marriage, to someone who was with you at a very intimate level. It's okay to be be sad, mad, and even confused. It is all part of the healing. I pray that you are filled with strength during this time and that you feel peace. You will get through this. HUGS!

I have decided that I'm going to make an appointment with an attorney to ask some questions before make the final decision. It's been something I have debated on doing for a couple of years and finally told myself that I have to be happy as well. Good luck!!
