So, I always share the bad news and the heartache. Today, I wanted to share the good. I found a job! It's not what I thought I'd be doing at 36, there's not much money in it, but I am so grateful someone gave me a shot. At the very least, now I have something to put on my resume that is within 15 years. Not to mention, the people I work with are amazing.

The kids have accepted that their family is no longer the same. They dislike the way their father is behaving, but they have let go of some of the anger and resentfulness. They are even open to going to a therapist. So, better things are on their way.

I've started having more good days than bad. I don't have the urge to talk to him as often. I'm joking and laughing again. I have hope for the future. I know that it's not over and there will still be obstacles. But, I've decided to embrace the good. And, I want to thank everyone here who has helped get through the worst situation of my life. I can finally believe that, eventually, I will be happy again.

Yeah! Congratulations on many levels! When we are in the thick of things it's hard to imagine that things will get better. It feels like your life is upside down and turned all around and everyone says it will get better and it's hard to believe that during those times. You are right, there are still obstacles, but good for you to look at the positive side!
It feels good to feel good again! Keep up the good work!
