Hello whoever’s reading..I’m new to this site.
Found out husband was unfaithful & now he’s asking for a divorce. Been married for 4 years. I’m 34 & it was my first marriage. Pretty devastated as we haven’t even began the divorce process, living in the same house & I have to watch him as he moves on with affair partner. Some days are better than others..today wasn’t one of them. Guess I just wanted to see how others have coped..I feel lost.

@MB310 DivorceCare is good and some have been online with covid. You might make new friendships there also.

I’m very sorry you are here; it is terrible. My suggestion would be to try and find some outlets that aid you in just getting through the days. The beginning part is very very hard. Walking , exercise, music, anything that helps you make it through the day. Also I found reading articles on internet very very helpful, helps you to see that it is not your fault and you are not alone. Sending you prayers

That's a tough pill to swallow. Adultery. I still haven't even after almost four years and 2 1/2 years divorced (hate that word.) I don't think I will ever fully accept it. Sorry that you are dealing with that. I know you probably hear this a lot but you husband's affair relationship is doomed to end. My ex was with her AP for 3 1/2 years but they broke up a couple months ago. Five minutes later she apparently had another boyfriend. It's a tortured existence for them. They just never see it. Poor people.
