I’m hiring an attorney and filing for divorce tomorrow. Many know my story. Married 15 years together for 20. Two sons ages 16 and 11. He’s been having an affair for almost a year now. Tell me right. He didn’t chose me he didn’t fight for me. I begged I tried he doesn’t want me. Tell me it’s right to file. Thank you for all the support.

I think you are doing the right thing. I’m a mom and left an 18 year marriage....he wasn’t faithful, etc. No regrets.

Keep the talk between the attorneys and you won’t have to deal with him.

Kids can thrive post-divorce. Don’t badmouth their dad to them, ever. Save that for therapist, friends, etc.

I got permanent alimony, too. Ask your attorney about what you are legally entitled to. I’m very happy and have no regrets, zero.

@LawBob just wanted to let you know LawBob that I read your last two posts several times over the last few days. They were very insightful and helpful to me. Thank you for sharing and helping a stranger.
