****Trigger Warning****
I slipped up today. Two weeks of no cutting, then today I did. At least 20 times, only on my thighs, nothing visible but still. Just had to get it out somewhere and telling my family is not an option. Don't know what to do anymore. Every day I feel more excluded from them. Not even my real family, it's my step dad and his daughter, and he and my mom are divorced anyway. Just kinda stuck here til I get my stuff together, get my ID back that I lost and get state assistance so I can take care of my issues. I've known them for 20 years and would do anything for them I possibly could, but the minute I ask them for something, they make it seem like a burden or an inconvenience. Can't hold down regular job due to my several mental instabilities, so I do what I can to make up for it around the house. Cooking, cleaning, babysitting. Even help my step dad with his handyman business. Helping him do jobs . Fencing, roofing, painting, whatever needs to be done. Sorry, I forgot where I was going with this, happens slot with schizophrenia and all my other ****. Just needed a place to rant.

Seems you are having to wait for things to happen so you can move on. People get used to help and forget that someone is making the effort. You might attach a list of your daily activities to the refrigerator, crossing each one off as you complete it, so that others in the house can see what you are doing.
