@Lonelylady13
Yes I definitely get this. I don't like texting. I use it for just small things like grabbing something from store. Or if leaving to go from one place to another. I purposely keep my ringer on silent and my text will only vibrate once. We have become these creatures that cannot see that technology is great for all but unless we place each other first technology will have no Soul left to run it.

I have to text them, I don't want to, but they WON'T answer for ME! They answer for EVERYONE else. One ex-friend says to me, "I love texting, it's so much easier. I turn the ringer off at work and forget to turn it back on" so, I started texting her instead. She STILL ignored me. I took the hint and have NEVER text or called her again. It's been 3 yrs now since we've had any contact. At one point, she had shut off her landline. Then got it reactivated because of the large cellphone bills. IF she needed something from me that nobody else would do, she'd call me with the number blocked. When I questioned her as to why it comes up blocked, she fumbled over her words with some sorry a$$ excuse. I was at her house like 6 months later, and the house phone rang. I knew then, she just didn't want ME to have the # so she could use the excuse of the cellphone ringer was off. After that, I refuse to answer any blocked or private numbers calling me on my landline. The most hurtful part of it, her son is my Godson. I WAS the one who took her to the hospital in 1986 to give birth, I'm the one who helped her raise her son. I'm the one who sat her son down at 3 yrs old and explained to him his dad was killed by a drunk driver. I'm the one who made sure during the wake and funeral, her son was taken care of. EVERYONE was thanking me for taking care of her son during that time. NOT her!!! Then she met a guy, married him, had another child and I ceased to exist UNLESS she needed a FREE babysitter... once the second child was old enough, I wasn't needed anymore. Her new husband's friends wives became her friends.

@Still02 I use my cellphone too and it happened to me yesterday where my comment posted twice. I too tried to delete the second one and couldn't figure it out. Shoot, I can't even figure out how to get into this group without googling support groups.
