I spoke to a therapist today who let me know that it's of to miss someone who didn't treat you the best but to also make the decision to walk away from that person. Night time makes me think a lot especially when my daughter is asleep. I have this yearning for conversation, intimacy....anything. I know I shouldn't focus on relationships. I should focus on my daughter and I do for most of the day. But when she's dreaming her sweet dreams I am left awake and alone and my thoughts run back to the person I thought was my forever. Then I realize that I am alone and it just about kills me. I feel like I'm just taking up space in this world. If it weren't for my daughter I think I would have given up by now. I'm holding on because she needs to see her mommy being strong but sometimes I feel like I can't keep it together. She's a newborn but I can't help but feel like I don't want her to grow up like me. I am broken, tired sad and alone. No job, no car anymore, just nothing. Nothing but these horrible feelings.

@JM1320 I am so sorry about your mom..... You do have a lot going on, you must be a strong woman, don't ever forget this... Things will look up. When I was divorced and raising my kids alone I found a great deak of comfort in spending time with friends who lifted me up. I know with covid this is sometimes hard to do, but maybe even a phone call would help?
