@Adaline60 I've had several family members with dementia and it is so hard to deal with. My great-aunt stopped bathing and would leave her back door wide open so the little animals could come in from the cold. That's when we had to have one of us move in with her and someone was with her at all times. Unfortunately, I'm starting to see some signs of dementia in my mother-in-law. We're so close, like sisters really, and it is killing me to see her this way.
I've read there are 7 stages to dementia. Here's a link to the article I read;

Talking/venting on the SG is an excellent way to deal with what's going on. There's always someone around to talk and share stories. Continue to post and it may help you feel less frustrated to know someone is going through the same thing.
I am so sorry you're going through this now. I'm sorry your life has changed so drastically and so quickly. I wish I knew more to help you deal with this. I truly wish you the best!

Thank you so much. My husband on some days he is fine
but I do not know what to do to help him. It hurts so much to see him not able to even feed himself. I just wonder what is going to happen next.
